My Side of Fate was a cute, hilarious romcom that follows Ashley and Chris, 2 teens who had lost touch after one fateful summer at camp. They meet years later as adults and rekindle a flame that was only ever a spark in their teen years. It’s a millionaire x simple living romance, and the spice is…surprising. But in a good way. Chris is an all around golden retriever, so when he lays it down, he will definitely shock you.
This book had me fanning myself and laughing out loud. I also love the Chinese folklore tied in with the book theme. It was a refreshing read. It’s kind of like…the one who ALMOST got away. Definitely recommend!

Ashley attended camp as a teen and fell in love with her camp counselor Chris. Unfortunately for her it was against camp rules to get with the counselors so she had to keep her feelings to herself. Years later as adults and no rules keeping them apart they finally see each other again and it only takes a second for her to see those feelings she had for him never faded.
This was such a fun, sweet, spicy read. I enjoyed the characters and their banter. Amber was HILARIOUS and I cannot wait for her book. Ashley and Chris together were super cute, I loved their interactions and the spicy scenes were hot!
This was such an awesome debut novel! I’m super excited to read the rest of the series and see where the other characters stories go!
If you enjoy writers like Kendall Ryan or Meghan Quinn or like fun spicy reads then definitely check this book out!
My Side of Fate is a beautiful showcase of first loves finding their happily ever after. It perfectly depicted the feelings of young love— the excitement, giddiness and infatuation with that other person. Lots of parts had me laughing out loud. Ashley’s thoughts and actions were so relatable, it’s hard not to love her! I also loved the relationships Ashley had with Amber and Victoria (despite attempts from you know who to make those two enemies)! I can’t wait for Amber’s story!!

Although this book has crossover characters from My Side of Fate, you can read it as a standalone. I do highly recommend My Side of Fate too just because it is very cute and has a swoon-worthy story line. Now about My Side of Love, Amber and Andy are quite the pairing, but somehow they even each other out and their banter was hilarious with many delicious moments.
This is a spicy, opposites attract romcom with a swooning MMC who has a filthy mouth. Honestly, Andy just sucked me in with his desire to be in Amber's life, but also flexible to do the things she loved to do and learn more about her, he was always down to teach her new things. Amber was a little closed off, she certainly had a past that left her on the fence about relationships and definitely kept herself distant to the idea of love. She is that funny, tattooed, artistic friend who is also the first one to be like "hold my beer" because she won't stand for someone's BS either and I love that about her.
Once you dive into these two, it is a fun ride, lots of comical moments, the spice is perfection and the ending literally had my heart melting for Andy. I can't wait to see what our next two characters get up to in book three.

I loved this book so much! If you are looking for a funny, spicy, feel-good romance read, you've found the winner! I found Amber to be so relatable as the FMC, and I cheered for her, whole heartedly, the entire book. The character development was great! She and Andy's journey together was full of happiness, heartbreak, laugh out loud comedy, anticipation, and feel good moments. I'm looking forward to S. Huntleigh's 3rd novel!

Through flirtation, laughter, pranks and discovering the fun in life Amber soon realises she’s in love with Andy. While the feeling is mutual, Andy is still learning how to maintain a work-life balance and when that balance begins to affect his health Amber does what she does best and she runs.
Will she regret her decision? Or will she realise that her chaos belongs with his routine. This book is laughter encompassed, the one liners and Amberisms in this book had me cackling out loud. I’m so proud of Sam, her writing has grown so much in just 2 published books and I’m excited to see what comes next for her.

This book is my favorite fairytale reimagining by far. I couldn’t put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The spice was out of this world but the story line was absolutely amazing.
If you like your fairytales on the dark side with some spice then I highly recommend this book!

S. Huntleigh killed it with this retelling! I was a little worried about liking this, only because retellings can be written really badly. But this was perfection! I devoured this in one sitting and was still left wanting more. The storyline, the darkness, the spice, and the emotional connection between the MCs were everything. This was the first book I've read of this author, and I will be definitely reading more now in the future from her
